Controlling and dealing with stress
Make a list of things that are stressful
When you try to figure out what is causing most of your stress you will probably want to do some research. This is something you can do on your own and will make a great start in dealing with the stress you have.
Just sit down and think about the problems that you are having in your life and write them down. Make a well thought out list of all of the problems and situations that are happening in your life.
Think about the problems you have written down and what you are worried or stressed about. Think of all the people that are adding to your stress and include your relationships at home and at work.
Figure out what problems you are having with the people on your list. After you have that figured out think about whether you need to have them in your life. If they are causing you more stress than they are good feelings you might want to think about staying away from them.
There is nothing wrong with ending a relationship that is in turmoil or staying away from people who cause you more pain than pleasure. You should be prepared to do this if it is going to help your health and well-being. There are just some people out there who cause more stress than they are worth.
Your lifestyle and habits can also cause a ton of stress. Think about what you can do to improve your lifestyle. Are you eating the right things, taking the time to exercise and get the proper amount of rest for your body.
Are you talking about your feelings with others? Do you need to find a different career path? These are examples you can think about when you are trying to define your life and what is causing you the most problems with stress
Do not forget about the humor and fun in your life. You really need to have some fun in your life as it does reduce stress and help you to relax. Jot down the things that you like to do and what makes you happy. Then make sure you include some time in your schedule to do them.
Go over your lists on a regular basis and make the necessary changes and take the time to enjoy things. You may find when you apply your list your stress will lessen or disappear for good. When you are thinking about what is disrupting your life, you may find the answers to the questions of what is causing all of your problems and your stress.
